A bachelor’s degree in marketing combined with diverse experience in sales and business development allows me to bring “outside the box” thinking to the marketing of my clients’ homes. I bring a consultative approach, strategic marketing expertise, and exceptional negotiating skills to the practice of real estate. There is more to selling a house than putting a sign in the yard and an ad in the paper. An effective marketing strategy for your home is one that combines proven marketing principles with the latest technology to get results, and get them quickly!
I Listen! Listening is the first, and among the most important things that I do for clients. I strive to gain understanding of your desires and needs. Once everyone is on the same page, the house hunting becomes a pleasure.
My knowledge of the local housing market and ability to recognize new trends gives my clients an edge in the marketplace. I’ll work with you to narrow down the many available houses to the ones that are the best possible fit for you and your family. And once we find that perfect house, my real work begins. I take every negotiation as a challenge to create the absolute best outcome for my clients, within the boundaries of good ethics. I’m meticulous about details (just ask my wife) and my diligent follow-through will keep the transaction on track and help us dodge any potential pitfalls during escrow.

I grew up in Oregon, and am happy to have made Portland my home. Neighborhoods I have lived in over the years include Tualatin, Tigard, Newberg, Hillsboro, Garden Home (SW Portland), Lents, and Sellwood (SE Portland). I am grateful to have such an intimate connection to so many neighborhoods in the area. I feel it truly is a service to my clients, and allows me to help them identify the neighborhood that is right for them.
I'm proud to be an Oregonian, and it's important to me to give back to a community that has given me so much. I have served on philanthropic boards and volunteered for many service projects over the years. Some of my current activities include:
